Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Medreferral Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Udayo”, “we”) collects and uses your personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. What we collect
- Mobile number — to verify you by OTP and to let people you choose to connect with reach you.
- What you tell us — listing details, partner profile, questionnaire answers, and notes you send to other users.
- Payment records — order and payment IDs and amounts. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them.
- Usage data — pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).
2. How we use it
- To run Udayo: sign you in, show listings, process payments and refunds, and send service SMS (OTP, “someone wants to connect”, “your listing is live”).
- To review listings and keep the platform safe.
- To understand and improve the product, and to measure our advertising.
3. When your number is shared
Your number is private by default. It is shared only when you choose to connect with someone (by paying the ₹99 unlock), or when someone pays to connect with your listing or partner profile, which you agree to when you list. We never sell personal data.
4. Who processes data for us
Razorpay (payments), MSG91 (SMS), our hosting and database providers, and Google/Meta (analytics). They process data only to provide their service to us.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account, listing or profile is active and for up to 3 years after, or longer where the law requires it (for example, payment records for tax purposes).
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or remove your listing or profile, by emailing hello@udayo.com from — or mentioning — your registered number. You may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). OTPs are stored only in hashed form and expire after 10 minutes. Access to personal data is limited to our team.
8. Cookies
We use a login cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in needs the login cookie.
9. Grievance officer
Manikant Singh — grievance@udayo.com, 98, New Patliputra Colony, Patna, Bihar 800013. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours. If you're not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Changes
We'll post any changes here with a new date.
